

If you have larger troubles, hold down Alt, Ctrl, and Shift keys (Mac: Command, Option, Shift) while starting up Photoshop. I just thought maybe there was something I was missing, like the correct version of Flash or something needed to allow Photoshop to open. (For #1, I didn't actually have any messages that I was having an issue with 3rd Party Apps. When asked "Delete the Adobe Photoshop Settings File?" If I say "Yes", what happens? Don't I need the settings file?

Not sure how I can access that if I can't open Photoshop (unless I am missing something). The other information talks about the Photoshop Toolbox and Resetting Tools. For #2, I followed the instruction for deleting the file "Adobe Photoshop CS2 Prefs.psp" as mentioned below.
